DAMULIRA was found in the slums of Kampala operating as a young member of a ferocious boy gang. Martin noticed he would not line up for food when it was distributed but wait and then steal all the younger children’s food. This was taught to him by the elder members of the gang. C4C identified this trait and tried to get him away from the street gang. Once he accepted to leave the posy he was given a place at C4C.

Damulira has turned into a delightful boy and enjoys attending school. Although he struggles with English and Maths, he is very good at Sciences and Lugandan. He is renowned for always having a smile on his face and is a very sociable child. He is often found playing football in his spare time.
