Did you ever wonder how our sponsorship funds are spent? Excluding school fees, our budget is 4400€/ month and this is how we spend it! We like to show 100% transparency and will show our accounts to anyone who asks. We have a team of 3 long suffering volunteers handling the accounts in Europe and they do a fabulous job!
750€ – Payroll
573€- Utilities ( firewood and charcoal, Internet, electricity, water, medical tab at local clinic and onsite first aid)
1390€ – Food and supplies (all food supplies for home and school breakfasts, sanitary towels and shavers, cleaning products and soaps.)
Transport – 750€ transport to and from school and performances and outings including paying drivers, regular maintenance and fuel (excluding insurance)
440€ – Petty cash covers all extras including paying volunteers transport to and from the centre and all small day to day bills ( shoes polish, deliveries etc.)
WE ONLY PAY OUR STAFF ONSITE IN UGANDA AND NOT IN EUROPE. Our staff don’t make big salaries and 100% of the funds go directly to the children.
