The location of David’s’ father is unknown. Eric’s mother didn’t care for him so he had to go to live with the grandmother in the hope of being cared for. The grandmother was not physically or financially able to care for him so Eric was taken to a church called Salvation Ark and abandoned there. The pastor knew about C4C, and so when David was left there he contacted Martin, who agreed to take him in, give him a home and a safe place to grow up. Martin later received a report the grandmother had died.

Eric adjusted well at C4C, he’s a smiley child with a good attitude and he works hard in class.
